Commutator maker offers new service
In Booth 323, Nelco Industries, a specialist in manufactur-
ing individual and series commutators ranging in size from
3 inches to 32 inches in diameter, will be spreading news
about a major development: The company can now supply
copper-mica crown for commutator refilling. Nelco Indus-
tries is capable of producing both molded and steel core
commutators, and it has been specializing for years in the
repair and traction business as well as the mining industry.
The company is a partner of such motor manufacturers as
TT Electric, ABB, Nidec, Baldor, and Sicme.
Nelco Industries will show that a well-crafted commutator is a beauti-
ful thing to behold.
Insulation, components, and machinery
Nippon Rika, exhibiting in Booth 1029, manufactures and
supplies insulation materials and components for high-volt-
age electric equipment, including motors, generators, and
transformers. At this year’s Solutions Expo, the company will
introduce its new North American website, www.nipponrika.
us, an online destination designed to make it easy for cus-
tomers to explore the company’s capabilities, find the right
contact, and get answers directly from experts.
The company is also launching its Electro Machinery Ser-
vice Division, with U.S.-based engineers available to support
customers across North America in servicing their machin-
ery from Nippon Rika group companies Micamation, Vincent
Industrie, and Bartech Machinery — a fleet that continues to
grow across the region.
